Economic Growth (Gross Regional Domestic Product) of Banten Province First Quarter 2024

Based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the first quarter of 2024, Banten’s economy reached IDR 211.73 trillion and IDR 130.45 trillion at constant prices (2010).

Banten’s economy grew by 4.51 percent in the first quarter of 2024, compared to the first quarter of 2023 (y-on-y). Public Administration & Defence; Compulsory Social Security experienced the highest growth at 20.63 percent, from production side. Meanwhile, the Non-Profit Institution Consumption Expenditure Component (LNPRT) experienced the highest growth at 21.04 percent on the expenditure side.

Banten’s economy in the first quarter of 2024 grew by 0.84 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). From the production side, the the highest growth was achieved by the Public Administration & Defence; Compulsory Social Security at 7.96 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Total Net Export Component experienced the the highest growth of 29.79 percent.
