Banten Province Rice Harvest Area and Production 2024 (Preliminary Figures)

Abstract

The rice harvest area in 2024 is estimated to be around 298.84 thousand hectares, a decrease of 12.36 thousand hectares or 3.97 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 311.20 thousand hectares.
Rice production in 2024 is estimated to be 1.52 million tons of GKG, a decrease of 162.14 thousand tons of GKG or 9.61 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 1.69 million tons of GKG.
Rice production in 2024 for population food consumption is estimated to be around 868.16 thousand tons, a decrease of 92.34 thousand tons or 9.61 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 960.50 thousand tons.
